Shenzhen Kelai Intelligent Display Co., Ltd. won the 14,999 m² A904-0285 parcel in Longhua District's Jiulongshan area through a public land auction on October 23, 2025. The site will host a flexible OLED and Mini LED display module production base with a total investment of approximately RMB 750 million.

Once fully operational, the facility is projected to generate around RMB 6 billion in annual output, significantly expanding Kelai's capacity for next-generation display modules. The project reinforces Kelai's long-term commitment to vertical integration and high-end manufacturing in the Greater Bay Area.

Shenzhen Kelai Intelligent Display Co., Ltd. has been named one of the 2024 Shenzhen Longhua District Top 100 Industrial Enterprises (2024年度深圳市龙华区工业百强企业) by the Longhua District People's Government. The award, presented in October 2025, recognizes Kelai's continued contribution to the district's industrial output and technological upgrading.

In April 2025, the Longhua District Industry and Information Technology Bureau published the key industry project selection plan for a Flexible Intelligent Display R&D and Production Base. The intended land user is Shenzhen Kelai Intelligent Display Co., Ltd.

The center will focus on R&D and mass production of flexible OLED and Mini LED modules, bringing together process engineering, reliability testing and automated assembly under one roof. The selection highlights local government recognition of Kelai's technical roadmap and its role in the regional display industry cluster.

Shenzhen Kelai Intelligent Display Co., Ltd. received the 2023 Shenzhen Longhua District Top 100 Industrial Enterprises award (2023年度深圳市龙华区工业百强企业) from the Longhua District People's Government in March 2025. The recognition celebrates Kelai's strong industrial performance, tax contribution and technological progress during the 2023 fiscal year.

Kelai display modules are now supplied to customers across more than 30 countries spanning Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, Africa and South America. The expanded footprint is supported by regional warehousing, localized technical service and flexible logistics that shorten lead times for overseas repair and refurbishment partners.

This milestone reflects Kelai's shift from a domestic supplier to a globally trusted source for LCD and OLED replacement screens and touch assemblies.

Founded in Shenzhen in 2006, Kelai has accumulated 18 years of specialized experience in display module design, manufacturing and quality management. What began as a local LCD module workshop has grown into a 2,000+ employee operation serving global markets with mobile, industrial, wearable and automotive display solutions.

Eighteen years of process know-how, supplier relationships and field feedback now feed directly into every batch Kelai ships.

Kelai's custom high-brightness TFT modules with anti-UV optical bonding and wide-temperature backlights have passed validation at brightness levels above 1,000 nits. Targeted at outdoor kiosks, EV charging stations and commercial signage, the modules maintain readability under direct sunlight while resisting yellowing and delamination.

The achievement opens new industrial and transportation display segments beyond Kelai's traditional mobile and repair markets.

Kelai's automotive-grade display modules passed AEC-Q100 reliability validation covering wide-temperature operation, electromagnetic interference and long-term glare resistance. The modules are qualified for navigation systems, rear-view mirrors and dashboard instrument clusters.

Passing AEC-Q100 confirms that Kelai's bonding, coating and stress-testing processes meet the durability demands of in-vehicle environments where failure is not an option.

On October 31, 2022, Shenzhen Kelai Intelligent Display Co., Ltd. was established to lead Kelai's next-generation flexible OLED and Mini LED display module business. The new entity consolidates R&D, advanced manufacturing and global sales for high-end modules.

It builds on the proven LCD and touch capabilities of parent company Kelai Electronics and marks a strategic step toward higher-value, future-facing display technologies.

Kelai obtained IATF 16949 certification, the globally recognized quality management standard for the automotive supply chain. The certification validates Kelai's controlled processes for traceability, defect prevention and continuous improvement across display module and touch assembly production.

With IATF 16949 in place, Kelai is qualified to supply tier-1 and OEM customers for in-vehicle infotainment and instrument cluster displays.

Kelai expanded its technology portfolio to cover LTPS-TFT backplanes, AM-OLED self-emissive panels and IN-CELL/ON-CELL integrated touch solutions for smartphones and wearables. Integrating these capabilities lets Kelai offer thinner, brighter and more responsive modules with fewer layers and better yield.

The move positions Kelai to serve premium device categories that demand compact, high-performance displays.

Kelai's Huizhou production base now operates ten fully automatic production lines, reaching a monthly output of approximately 2 million (2KK) display modules. The capacity supports mobile, industrial and customized module orders with stable lead times.

The expanded base strengthens Kelai's ability to absorb volume spikes from global distributors and refurbishers without compromising on incoming inspection and final test discipline.

Kelai's R&D center entered an industry-university-research partnership with the Shenzhen Industry-University-Research Collaboration Promotion Association. The collaboration channels academic research into practical display manufacturing projects, from new bonding materials to reliability methodologies.

By bridging laboratory innovation and production lines, the partnership accelerates Kelai's path from prototype to certified, mass-produced modules.

Kelai Electronics was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise, affirming its R&D capabilities in LCD modules, capacitive touch panels and integrated display solutions. The designation, granted by Chinese authorities to firms with substantive innovation investment, supports preferential policies.

It reinforces Kelai's reputation as a technology-driven manufacturer rather than a pure assembler.

Kelai engineers joined the 2016 China International OLED Industry Conference to track next-generation flexible display trends, material roadmaps and equipment advances. The event provided direct insight into where the industry is heading and which supplier ecosystems are forming.

Knowledge gained at the conference informed Kelai's subsequent investments in AM-OLED and IN-CELL technologies.

Kelai introduced three sets of fully automated COG (Chip-On-Glass), FOG (Film-On-Glass) and On-cell bonding equipment. The lines improved bonding precision, reduced manual handling and raised module production capacity while tightening process control.

The investment was a turning point that moved Kelai from semi-manual assembly toward a more consistent, scalable and quality-assured manufacturing model.

Employees gathered for Kelai's annual Lunar New Year reunion banquet, a long-standing tradition that brings teams across production, engineering and sales together. The evening celebrated the previous year's milestones and welcomed the new production season.
